Come share the infectious joy and magic of Big Band music and celebrate the beauty of Jazz as the 16 piece RTM Jazz Big Band powers through a blistering repertoire of standard tunes and original in Jakarta Java Jazz Festival from 5th March til 7th March 2010.

 

Four of original pieces RTM repertoires in Java Jazz Festival will be 'Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Lumpur, Peace, Jakarta Here I Come. Tribute to Alfonso's songs will be 'Gadis Idaman,Airmata Berderai' and standards tunes are 'Green Dolphin, How High The Moon, BrazilianAffair, But Not For Me' .

The RTM Music Director Dato Mokhzani Ismail will be the pianist con conductor of the event and he will be perform in MJazz Trio of his own particapants jazz band.

Irene Soliano on vocals in RTM Jazz Big Band, is the daughter of late Alfonso Soliano the Malaysian Jazz Legends , is sure to capture the imagination of all jazz lovers.

There are other performers include MJazz Trio,Hubert Laws, Randy Bracker, Harvey Mason, Bob James, Lee Ritenour, Manhattan Transfer, George Duke, Jane Monheit,Jeff Lober, Ivan Lins,John Legend,Robben Ford Roy Hargorve, Steve Lukhater etc.. and pop star Kenny Babyface, Dianne Warren, Tony Braxton.
